The inspirational quotes and posts are much appreciated Gabriel! It's so easy to forget our purposes, and that much harder to find and maintain them. Your post about experiencing Japan reminded me how important it is to surround ourselves with positive people who remind us who we are and truly want to be. Here are some quotes that provide me a dose of focus when I find myself off track:)
"The best renounce all for one thing, the eternal fame of mortals, but the many stuff themselves like cattle." - Heraclitus
"Formula for my happiness: A yes. A no. A straight line. A goal." - Nietzsche
"Be a man and do not follow after me!" - Goethe
"Perish in pursuit of this and only this - I know of no better aim of life than that of perishing, 'prodigal of a great soul', in pursuit of the great and impossible." - Nietzsche
"Every beginning is difficult. Practice makes the master." - Ancient Greek saying
"He who cannot obey himself is commanded." - Nietzsche
"If a man were to conquer in battle a thousand times a thousand men, and another conquer one, himself, he indeed is the greatest of conquerors." - Buddhist Proverb
"I had to gain happiness, because I didn't always have it... When you're unhappy, you have to recognize it, because if you don't you're going to be unhappy the next day, and it's just going to snowball into something that doesn't stop. You can't think, I'm stuck; what choice do I have? You always have a choice." - Vijay SIngh
